How should the wedding guests behave?

Our group has two members.  We are responsible for giving our classmates a presentation on guest behavior on the wedding day.  Generally, we don't have enough knowledge about weddings in America yet.  However, we have tried to find more information we think that we will be grateful when researching this.  We need your help to solve some difficulties.

What should the guests wear?

Should we come to the wedding ceremony earlier than everyone?

Do people talk formally or informally with each other at the wedding?

Decorating the Reception Hall

Hello everyone!

We are the students of Julie.  I'm sure that all of you have heard about the announcement of Julie and Jon's wedding party. It's a special thing that my teacher lets her students celebrate her wedding party in Vietnam.  So, it's our happiness and honor for our group to contribute our small part in her wedding day.  Our group is in charge of decorating the reception which will be held in the same place as the ceremony (the school's assembly hall).  Please help us with some of the details:

About decorating the reception, our group firstly doesn't know what we need to buy and if we are able to buy the right things in Vietnam.  And what's more, could you give us some general information in decorating (reception).  We are looking forward to hearing your suggestions.  Thank you in advance.

What do American's eat at parties?

Our group has 7 members.  We are responsible for reception food.  We like cooking and discovering something new about American food.  All of us are grateful to take charge of this duty.
