Hello everyone!
We are the students of Julie. I'm sure that all of you have heard about the announcement of Julie and Jon's wedding party. It's a special thing that my teacher lets her students celebrate her wedding party in Vietnam. So, it's our happiness and honor for our group to contribute our small part in her wedding day. Our group is in charge of decorating the reception which will be held in the same place as the ceremony (the school's assembly hall). Please help us with some of the details:
About decorating the reception, our group firstly doesn't know what we need to buy and if we are able to buy the right things in Vietnam. And what's more, could you give us some general information in decorating (reception). We are looking forward to hearing your suggestions. Thank you in advance.
You should check with Julie about which colors she has chosen for her wedding. These are the colors that her bridesmaids will wear, and the colors included in the flower bouqets.
Once you know the colors, you can decorate the tables with white tablecloths and centerpieces that incorporate the colors. The centerpieces can be vases with flowers, or small mirrors with candles burning on top, or simply framed pictures of the bride and groom. You can have candy or chocolate on the tables as well.
Around the room you might string up some white lights or toulle (white lacy material).

Pam did a great job describing how to decorate the reception. Sometimes people do other fun decorations at a reception also. As guests enter the reception location, often there is a table for setting gifts that weren't brought to the wedding, the book for guests to sign might be there also (brought from the wedding location in case guests didn't have an opportunity to sign in there). Additionally, there may be a board or a frame with pictures of the couple and pictures of each of them as children, and perhaps even pictures of their dating and engagement. Often the bridal couple will have a very small gift (we call them "party favor" in America) for each person who attends the reception. This "Favor" may be a chocolate, or a few candies tied in a bundle, or a poem, or a CD with the couple's favorite music - the point is that it is something for each person to take with them when they leave the reception.

Re-Useable wedding dress? Are you kidding me? A Wedding is supposed to last a lifetime.
