Yeah - I have a lot to be very thankful for.
You see these people? The guy is Tuan - brilliant young man, now at the University of Texas - San Antonio earning his Ph. D. That's his mother, Lộc (say Lopp) on the end, during her very first visit to the US. Tuan's other mother is Cindy - and I am not kidding - he calls Cindy "Mom."
But today - especially today - I am so proud of Ái Nhân (say eye nyun). She just finished her first semester of graduate school here in the US.
Imagine - all the reading you have to do in a Master's program - all the writing - all the presentations - all the research. Ái Nhân did it all in a langauge she did not grow up speaking.
Frankly - I'm not that smart, but she is.
Congratulations to Ái Nhân for an A in each course. Co Cindy and I are very proud of you!
Not just A's..... 4.0 GPA! Way to go, Miss Ai Nhan! xoxo

Doug, you and your wife have indeed been blessed that you can live a life which genuinely shares in the joys of others. Merry Christmas to you both.

Hello Doug and Happy New Year! It has been a long time since I've visited your blog. Seems and the Mrs. are just as busy as usual. Welcome Ai Nhan and what a fabulous student.
