I really enjoyed this. It took me back to when I rode a bus in Thailand from NKP to Bangkok. After riding on a Greyhound through the deep south here in the states, I was a little anxious about traveling on a bus over there. Boy was I surprised. It was clean, comfortable and they even had little TV screens every fifth row or so. Of course I didn't know what they were saying but it was still very entertaining. It wasn't at all what I had expected and it made me stop and think about judging people or cultures before you know them. There is a lot of good out there, thanks for sharing. Charles Kuralt would have been proud of this piece.

I hope to get back to VN soon. As I was jogging yesterday I was thinking of going by myself and taking the train sometimes and the bus sometimes. That is far different transportation than your pictures. I really enjoy the local culture, but we as Americans want our own way of life and comfort as we visit other places. Traveling by myself I can as they say "When in Rome do as the Romans".
